At JTA Yacht Delivery & Consulting, we understand and appreciate that you are entrusting us with your Yacht. Whether you have recently purchased a new Yacht out of state and need it taken to its new home, or simply wanting to have it taken somewhere different for a season / semi-permanent home, then this is where our experience and knowledge will serve you best.
Every delivery is different, yet we approach each one with the same high level of planning, contingencies as well as execution. Luckily, JTA Yacht Delivery has operated worldwide in Yachts varying in size from 40'-130' with a variety of engine and propulsion configurations.
From the very beginning, you will be given a proposed itinerary in a personalized Estimate. These estimates are calculated from over 375+ successful deliveries covering a variety of routes and contingency plans. Once we begin the trip we will continue to communicate with you as the trip progresses, and we also take great pride in the technology and tools that we carry with us to be able to keep you up to date on our progress.

Pros and Cons of Yacht Shipping
We routinely are directly involved in arranging Cargo Ships to transport your Yacht to and from the Great Lakes from Port Everglades every Spring and Fall. JTA Yacht Delivery works with shipping companies to arrange your Yacht to be delivered into the heart of the Great Lakes for easy access to Chicago, Detroit, N. Michigan, Cleveland and the North Channel.
-There are benefits of Yacht Shipping for the owner and / or Crews, but also there is some preventative items that need to be accomplished prior to shipping as well as after shipping for a smooth process.

How does it all work and what is the schedule?
JTA Yacht Delivery is on site at the loading and offloading of your Yacht to either help your crew prepare and coordinate logistics, or can be hired directly to prep, move, and oversee the loading and offloading of your Yacht. We work directly with the shipping company and Loadmaster(s) to ensure its a seamless process and your Yacht will arrive and be "ready to go".
The Schedule is normally as follows:
-Load in Port Everglades in May-June and offload in Great Lakes about 2 weeks later.
-Load in Great Lakes in October and offload in Port Everglades about 2 weeks later.
-Worldwide routes are also available-
-Ft. Lauderdale to Caribbean-
-Ft. Lauderdale to Golfito, LaPaz, Ensenada, and Pacific Northwest.

*Please remember that these are commercial cargo ships, so the Yacht will be dirty upon arrival to the destination, but JTA Yacht Delivery has methods and procedures to minimize and protect the Yacht as best as possible.
*Please note that commercial cargo ships travel at much slower speeds and are affected by things such as cargo delays, weather, labor shortages, etc. Unfortunately they don't run on schedules like Airlines, so there is always a window to work within for arrival of the ship to load the Yachts.
